About Us

Greg Best started KCI Homes, (Katleron Construction Inc.), in 2000 with a dream of becoming one of Oklahoma City's finest builders. "Our goal from the start was to take ideas from more expensive homes and put them into the midsize market. We have been very successful in accomplishing this. Our homes starting in the $150,000s have some of the same amenities we put in our homes priced at $500,000 and up." Greg has seen his dream become a reality over the past few years and is now an award winning builder, taking the categories of "Best Decorated" and "Best Master Suite" in the $200,000 to $400,000 category in the 2008 Parade of Homes.

Growing up in Midwest City, Greg graduated valedictorian from Midwest City High School. He received academic and baseball scholarships to attend Oklahoma City University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. After becoming a CPA and practicing public accounting, Greg followed his dad, Chuck Best's lead and began Greg Best Insurance Agency.

Around 2003, as the homebuilding business began to take flight, Greg decided to merge his agency with his Dad's. "Dad has served his clients in Oklahoma City for over 35 years. With the homebuilding taking more of my time, it made perfect sense to let Dad take over that part of our business."

Greg and his wife, Monica have four children, Katie, Tyler, Dillon and Holly. Monica is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, a CPA, and loves being a wife and mom. All the children attend Christian Heritage Academy. Greg and Monica are active members of First Southern Baptist Church, where Greg serves on the finance team and in the deacon ministry. He and Monica both teach in the youth ministry. "We love serving Jesus and anything we have been able to accomplish in our lives is a direct result of HIS blessing and HIS faithfulness.
